Good morning on this warm sunny Saturday morning, April 28. As I have been preparing for tomorrow's message which is part 2 of our prophecy update sermons, I have become increasingly excited about the up-to-the-minute happenings which relate to Biblical prophecy. Ranging from geopolitical developments to technological advances, the world stage is being set for the fulfillment of divine prophecy. Diverse newspapers such as the Jerusalem Post, the Guardian of Great Britain, and the New York Times carry stories that relate to Biblical prophecies on a continuing basis. I like to think about the world events unfolding as the setting of the table in preparation for the hosting of a special dinner guest. After carefully placing the tablecloth, fine china, silverware, napkins and food items, all is ready for His arrival. Everything necessary must be prepared and in place for His appearance. Now the essential items on the table are nearly all there and the time is approaching for His coming. Although we do not know exactly when He will come, we know it could be at any time because the preparations are all but complete. One thing is for sure, we are closer today than we were yesterday and one of these days will be THE day. Tomorrow's message will focus on some very important items of the table settings which need to be in place to point the way for His coming. I hope to see you in church tomorrow morning. I can hardly wait to share God's Word with you then.
