Good morning on this Saturday, September 11th. In our previous blogs we detailed where the sons of Noah geographically migrated and what their ancient identity became in modern times as nations and peoples. This information is invaluable to any student of prophecy as we identify the modern nations derived from them and plug their identities into prophetic Scriptures. Names such as Gog (Russia), Magog (Scythians, part of Russia), Meshech (Eastern Asia Minor, Northern Russia), Tubal (Eastern Asia Minor, Northern Russia), Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Northeast Africa, Ethiopia), Libya (North Africa West of Egypt, Libya), Gomer (Crimea, Western Russia, Eastern Germany), Togarmah (Turkey, Part of Armenia), Sheba (Yemen, Part of Arabia), Dedan (Southern Arabia), and Tarshish (Spain, British Isles) in Ezekiel chapters 38-39 and Media (the Medes, Part of Persian Empire in Northwest Iran), Persia (See Above), Gr(a)ecia (Greece) , Egypt (Egypt), Edom (Idumaea, Southwest Asia, South of Judea), Moab (Jordan East of Dead Sea) , Ammon (Arabia East of Gilead), Libya (See Above), and Ethiopia (See Above) in Daniel chapter 11 can be determined by referring to this Table of Nations or researching them in a good dictionary or encyclopedia. Read these chapters and plug in the modern identities and the texts will be well illuminated to you.
Tomorrow's message will be one of several which will answer your submitted questions on Biblical prophecy. I'll look forward to seeing you there.
